My main go-to sealer and the one I probably use the most is General Finishes High Performance Top Coat. I have already refinished my 40 year old “plank look” cabinets twice. Be certain to apply it in all corners, crevices and raised panel sections. No need to remove it all. Have you ever tried Polyvine Wax Finish Varnish? Not sure what has gone wrong, is there a spray on varnish I could use instead? I either paint a darker coat underneath to start, or I’ll add it in layers on top.
